The Capra World Slam is considered the single most physically demanding accomplishment in mountain hunting. Recognized by the Grand Slam Club/Ovis (GSCO), it requires harvesting 12 different species or subspecies of the world's wild mountain goats under fair chase conditions.
To achieve the Capra World Slam, a hunter must legally harvest and document with GSCO at least 12 different species or subspecies from the recognized trophy categories. Beyond the initial 12, hunters can pursue the Super 20, Super 30, and Super 40 designations.
